Wu Tang Clan - Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers) (1993)

Wu Tang Clan - Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers)

This is a certified classic 5 out 5 masterpiece. This album one of the best albums ever. This album talks about the life of growing up in the ghetto. This group was 10 deep and they had other well known affilates. This album will never be forgotten or overlooked. On "Tearz" Ghostface Killah tells a little story "Me and my man, my ace big Moe from the shelterBout to hit the skins, from this girl named ThelmaNow Thelma had a rep, that was higher than her neckEvery girl from Shaolin dissed her respectWe was stimmy, you know how it is when you're blitzedThree o'clock in the morning, something gots to giveMoe said he'll go first, I said I'll take nextHere, take this raincoat, and practice safe sexHe seemed to ignore, I said be for realShe's not even worth it, to go raw dealA man's gonna do what a man's gonna doHe got butt-naked and stuck the power UTwenty minutes went by, my man went out, without a doubtI'm not pumpin' up, I am, airin outHey yo, he came out laughing with gloryI'm surprised, he's still livin', to tell his storyBut he carried on, with the same old stuff with Stephanie, like a whammy, he pressed his luckBoth tried to be down with O.P.P.Ain't nuttin' wrong but he got caught with the H.I.V. nowNo life to live, doc says two more yearsSo after the laughter, I guess comes the tears". This is a most here fo hip hop heads.

Common - Be (2005)

Common - Be
What can i say Common is one of the best hip-hop artist out right now and this 5 out 5 album is his best album up to date. I remember when this gem dropped when I was 13 I lost my mind over it. This album had soulful production from the likes of Kanye West & the late J Dilla. He rhymes about his perspective of life . On the track "Faithful" He spits lyrics like "I was rollin' around, in my mind it occurredWhat if God was a her?Would I treat her the same? Would I still be runnin' game on her?In what type of ways would I want her?Would I want her for her mind or her heavenly body?Couldn't be out gettin' bogus with someone so godlyIf I was wit' her would I still be wantin' my ex?The lies, the greed, the weed, the sexWouldn't be ashamed to give her part of my checkWearin' her cross, I mean the heart on my neckHer I would reflect on the streets of the Chi'Ride wit' her, 'cause I know for me she'd dieThrough good and bad call on her like I'm chirpin' herCouldn't be jealous 'cause other brothers worship herWalk this earth for her, glory, I'm gratefulTo be in her presence I try to stay faithful". This is a most hear if you love some good music.

GZA - Liquid Swords (1995)

GZA - Liquid Swords
This was the second album from the GZA who was one tenth of the Wu-Tang Clan. This album is one of the best hip-hop albums ever by far this is truly a 5 out of 5. This album showed that the Wu-Tang saga had to continue. RZA helped craft all of the production except for the track "B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth)" where the 4th Disciple showed his production abilties and Killah Priest showed off his rhyming skills. GZA killed every single beat and his fellow group members did to. GZA vividly described street life but he used hard vocabulary. On the track "4th Chamber" he whipped the lyrics "I got mouths to feed, unnecessary beef is more cows to breed I'm on some tax free shit by any means whether bound to hit scheme or some counterfeit CREAM I learned much from such with cons who run scams Veterans got the game spiced like ham and from that, sons are born and guns are drawn clips are fully loaded, and then blood floods the lawn". You guys need this in your collection. I got it in mine and i was two about to turn three when it dropped.

AZ - Doe or Die (1995)

AZ - Doe or Die
Is one of the most well done albums in hip hop history. This album is a classic album which I would give a 5 out of 5. This album is about street life and the crime life he fused his hard heavy hitting lyrics with soulful beats done by, Pete Rock, Buckwild, L.E.S., DR Period, Ski, etc. One of best crafted tracks on this well crafted LP is "Rather Unique" he uses lyrics such as "we was already loyal to people's minds and mulianis now we more fucked up with a mayor named Guliani you can try to bomb me analyze but can't define me my mind's divine heavily entwined with Ghandi's". AZ only features are from his mentor Nas, Miss Jones, Erica Scott & Barsham.
